The use of this website is generally possible without providing personal data. For advanced functions, such as using our contact form, certain data must be collected. We make sure to ask only for the data we absolutely need to fulfill the respective requirement. These data are marked as mandatory fields in the website forms with an (*) symbol. Any additional information is voluntary.

1.2 Use of Cookies

Our website uses cookies to store user-specific data. A cookie is a small data set stored on your device that can be read by our web server. This allows, for example, saving your preferences like language or layout without having to create a customer account.

We distinguish between three types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies – to ensure basic website functionality
  • Analytical cookies – to analyze website performance and user behavior
  • Marketing cookies – for personalized advertising, social media content, etc. (we do NOT use these)

You can see which cookies we use for our website in section 1.2.1 below. You can decide which type of cookies you want to allow when visiting our website. If you generally do not allow us to use cookies, i.e. deactivate them completely through your browser settings, some features and pages may not work as expected.

You can check which cookies are currently stored in your browser and how to view and delete them through the following links:

1.3 Use of Log and Analysis Tools

1.3.1 Our Server Logs

When you visit our website, our web server automatically stores data in files (web server log files) such as:

  • The address (URL) of the visited page
  • Browser and browser version
  • The operating system used
  • Date and time

These are usually stored for two weeks and then automatically deleted. We do not share this data, but may use it to analyze and resolve any issues with our website if necessary.

1.3.2 Google Analytics

For website analysis purposes, Google Analytics automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Your IP address is generally not combined with other Google data. Data processing is carried out based on a processing agreement with Google.

Deactivation of Data Collection by Google Analytics

With the help of the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, dc.js), website visitors can prevent Google Analytics from using their data.

You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

2. Tools and Applications

2.1 Links to Other Websites

Our website also contains links to other websites, such as to shop systems, CMS, our clients, and others.

These websites are not under our control and therefore do not fall under the provisions of this privacy policy. If you activate a link, it is possible that the operator of that website will collect data about you and process it according to their own privacy policy, which may differ from ours.

2.2 Encryption with HTTPS

We use HTTPS to transmit data securely over the internet (data protection by design Article 25(1) GDPR). By using TLS (Transport Layer Security), an encryption protocol for secure data transmission over the internet, we ensure the protection of sensitive data. You can recognize the use of this secure data transmission by the small lock symbol on the top left of your browser and the use of the HTTPS scheme (instead of HTTP) as part of our website address.

3. Your Rights and Security

According to the GDPR and the Data Protection Act (DSG), as an affected person of our data processing, you have the following rights and legal remedies regarding your data:

  • Right to Information (Article 15 GDPR)
  • Right to Rectification (Article 16 GDPR)
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten") (Article 17 GDPR)
  • Right to Restriction of Processing (Article 18 GDPR)
  • Right to Notification – Obligation to notify in connection with the correction or deletion of personal data or the restriction of processing (Article 19 GDPR)
  • Right to Data Portability (Article 20 GDPR)
  • Right to Object (Article 21 GDPR)
  • Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling (Article 22 GDPR)
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority (Article 77 GDPR)

4. EU Online Dispute Resolution

The EU Commission provides the possibility for online dispute resolution via a platform it operates (the so-called "OS platform"). The OS platform can be used as a point of contact for out-of-court resolution of disputes arising from online purchase agreements or service contracts. This platform is available via the external link https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

However, we firmly believe that we can find a mutual solution without the need for this facility – through personal contact and a service-oriented approach.
